What We Are Doing

  • Mentorship

    Our mentorship program is designed as an opportunity for people (of all ages) to experience the benefits of a restorative yoga practice, the comfort of safe space, thoughtful prompts on a topic for critical thought, and for communication from a place of both relaxation and attentiveness. Our flagship program is this project is Teens Teaching Teens. We work with Dr. Robin Petering of Lens Co to keep developing ways to expand and affirm our mentoring process.

  • Bravery

    In this project we use the term bravery to inspire thoughts, engage in conversations, and to foster confidence within individuals. This project in conjunction with our method aims to use the connections we make around the word bravery to support individual’s sense of agency, identity, and change. We explore what it means to be brave and how to resource that in today's world. This project sets the ‘stage’ for a performance art piece based on the human form.

  • Note to Self

    Note to Self is a project focused on the health and wellness of youth. It is a project designed a tad differently than our others in the way that the communication focused is inward instead of through conversation.The process of reflexion and recognition starts with the And & Both method then circles into journalling. Yoga for Young Mothers is part of this project.

How We Do It

  • Communication

    We make communication fun and inclusive. We dig boundaries and we can expressive ourselves within expressive and contained ways. We facilitate: Conversation, Group Discussion, Decision Making, Teaching, Creating Utilitarian Compassion (skillful caring), Sharing, Embodiment, Expression, Podcasting, Public Speaking and more
    Communication is good connection and good connections are often good company.

  • Performance Art/ Movement

    We see art as effective and ingrained within the method we use. The art of connecting to oneself is the first stages of moving, yoga, painting etc. We facilitate: Movement for Health, Movement for Body Awareness, Movement/Stillness, Movement as Language, Performance as Language, Performance for Space Making, Performance as Representation, Restorative Yoga to Ease Anxiety, Performance and Movement to Connect People/Concepts/Community.

  • Journalling/Writing/Video

    We hope to encourage narratives and bring meaning using words and the process of documenting. Our goal when journalling or documenting is to develop and to bring awareness to reality and possibilities. We feel that a well cared for inner dialogue can shift to written word and then to other forms of documenting. We start this process and fuel it with our method, And & Both.
